'Modern Family' cast gets together for final table reading as stars bid emotional goodbyes to their fans

With only a few weeks left until Steven Levitan's creation comes to an end, the entire cast of the 11-year show met for their final table reading

After ruling the television for over a decade, ABC's hit sitcom 'Modern Family' is preparing to bid farewell to its fans with the Season 11 finale nearing.

With only a few weeks left until Steven Levitan's creation comes to an end, the entire cast of 'Modern Family' met up for their final table reading.

After sharing the screen for at least 10 years, the members of 'Modern Family' documented all the memorable moments from their last script reading session and shared the same on their respective social media handles.

Sofia Vergara who plays Gloria Pritchett on 'Modern Family' posted multiple pictures from the final table reading on Instagram. She wrote: "Our last table read sad because its ending but so gratefull and happy to have been able to be part of this family. It has being More than I ever dreamed of or deserved Gracias my Modern Family #11years. (sic)" In the pictures, she is seen standing by her real and reel life sons.

Meanwhile, Ariel Winter shared a selfie from her vanity van which displays her character name Alex in the background. She captioned it, "Only 9 more production days left until we wrap filming Modern Family forever."

Eric Stonestreet, who essays one of the most jaunty and loved characters of Cameron Tucker, shared a selfie video from 'Modern Family' final table reading, which showcases all the actors and crew members in the background. He wrote in the caption, "Final table read of an 11 year show. Episode 250."

The rest of the cast including Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Sarah Hyland also shared a couple of stories on Instagram. While Ferguson's post showed packets of tissues placed on the final drafts from the final table reading, Sarah posted a funny picture of Levitan, which shows tissues tucked under his glasses.

'Modern Family' fans from across the world have reacted to the social media posts by sharing heartwarming comments and saying how terribly they are going to miss the sitcom which managed to bring laughter to their lives for over a decade.
