The American modern family is visiting Paris and the high drama that unfolds in the 'city of lights' is everything we waited to watch in Episode 13 titled ‘Paris’ since it was first announced.

All the adult members of the Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker households except Manny (who is an old soul himself), take a trip to Paris as a part of their annual excursion.

However, a different reason brings Jay Pritchett (Ed O'Neill) to the city. He is in Paris to receive a lifetime award at the International Closets Gig, or at least that's what he believes.

However, the posters on the display show Earl Chamber's (Jon Polito) face, seeing which Gloria Delgado Pritchett (Sofia Vergara) and Manny Delgado (Rico Rodriguez) realize that Jay was called in to receive the award for his nemesis, and they need to distract him from the event before he discovers the truth.

Meanwhile, Phil Dunphy (Ty Burrell) decides to surprise Claire Dunphy (Julie Bowen) for Valentine's Day in Paris by making an appearance in his role-play alter ego, Claude.

But, little does Claire know that there is more than one Valentine Day date waiting for her at the restaurant as she bumps into an old fling Key, who was sitting right beside Phil.

Phil, who was at first was unable to see his wife hit off with an old fling with whom she shared a brief but a passionate affair is instantly impressed by Key's magic skills.

Magic brings the duo together and they decide to spend the rest of their unplanned Valentine's Day at a magic museum, paying very little heed to Claire's needs.

Meanwhile, Mitchel Pritchett (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) decides to entertain himself in the city of love after being ditched by his partner Cameron Tucker (Eric Stonestreet), who has his own plans of bringing Frizbo to life as he goes about clowning on the lanes of Paris.

However, Fizbo's happy moment ends tragically when he meets Fizbeau, a European clown, who not only shares an uncanny resemblance to Cam's alter ego but also pushes his counterpart out of his territory by squirting Cam on the face with water and banging him on the head with a book.

'Modern Family' Season 11 airs on Wednesdays on ABC.
