A Million Little Things’ fans, rejoice! The show is returning sooner than anyone expected. After a super emotional two-part finale of Season 3, the show will be returning with the fourth edition on ABC later this month. The news was confirmed by the network earlier this year, which means fans won’t have to wait to seek answers for if Alan (Terry Chan) and Katherine (Grace Park) ever end up together.

The show revolves around a group of friends who are shocked after a member of the group unexpectedly commits suicide.  The friends realize that they need to finally start living life as they cope with their loss. The title is a reference to the saying “Friendship isn't a big thing – it's a million little things”.

Release date and how to watch

The fourth edition of ‘A Million Little Things’ will premiere exclusively on ABC on Wednesday, September 22. According to Futon Critic, the show will be taking the 10 pm EST slot on the network. Streaming services, like YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, and fuboTV, will also allow you to watch the series. New episodes of ‘A Million Little Things’ will also be available to stream the next day on Hulu.

Plot

The plotline of the entire season has not been revealed, but the network recently shared the synopsis for Episode 1 of Season 4 and it reads, “Gary struggles in the aftermath of his encounter with Peter. Meanwhile, Regina and Rome put on a united front following the closure of Someday and the deportation of Tyrell’s mother. Sophie deals with mixed emotions surrounding her mother while Delilah faces a difficult decision. Eddie inches closer to finding out who caused the accident, and Maggie navigates a new career opportunity on the season four premiere.”

Spoilers

A lot of things happened during the Season 3 finale. Gary (James Roday Rodriguez) has been showing signs of aggression through the course of the third season, especially after Sophie’s assault. He blames himself for what happened and is unable to forgive himself. During the finale, he lost his patience and went after Peter (Andrew Leeds) for what he did to Sophie. The finale did not show if Gary killed Peter for his wrongdoings, but it seems he will get awfully closer to doing something dangerous.

Meanwhile, we saw Delilah (Stephanie Szostak) finally return for Season 3 finale. As soon as Sophie sees her, she gets the courage to report Peter. However, everything comes crashing down when she bumps into a police officer on the show and realizes how police assaulted her during the protests. As a result, she doesn’t go to the police station.

Other actors to feature on the series include Grace Park (Katherine Kim), James Roday Rodriguez (Gary Mendez), Stephanie Szostak (Delilah Dixon), Tristan Byon (Theo Seville), Lizzy Greene (Sophie Dixon), and Floriana Lima (Darcy Cooper).

The show has been created by DJ Nash and written by the trio of Nash, Dante Russo and Ashley Sims. Apart from Nash, notable personalities like Aaron Kaplan, Dana Honor, James Griffiths, Marshall Boone, and David Marshall Grant also serve as executive producers on the show.
