'A Million Little Things' Season 3 Episode 2: Did Eddie kill Alex? Katherine might not forgive him this time
In a new promo for the upcoming episode of ABC's 'A Million Little Things', we see Eddie Saville (David Giuntoli) struggling to keep up with this new lease of life. After the hit and run at the end of the last season, Eddie was left paralyzed from the waist down. It was revealed that the accident was caused by Alex Stewart's father (played by Gerard Plunkett) who was also the one to make the 911 call to save him. So he definitely believes that his daughter drowned that night because of Eddie and is now back in the picture to exact revenge.
While the upcoming season focuses of Eddie's disability, it is also going to explore his possible involvement in the death of Alex Stewart. Creator DJ Nash had said that this new storyline for Eddie will play out into the next season. So it's safe to assume that the Season 3 run will conveniently incorporate both storylines playing keen attention to each. Eddie's accident is a direct result of his presence at the lake that night. Alex's father strongly believes in his involvement in his daughter's death and so ran the truck over him. But guilt-ridden, he made the 911 call.
Just how much does Katherine know about this situation, about this mysterious detail from her husband's past? How long before the truth is out? No one on the show knows the truth about who was in the driver's seat that night. For that matter, we know little truth about Eddie's sister Lindsay's (Sprague Graden) account of that night. Everything we know is what she claimed in front of Eddie. So what really happened that night and just how are these Saville siblings related to it?
If this arc is supposed to last more than a season, it is possible that the connection might run deep. And Eddie's closure might not come anytime soon since he also has a new development in his character. It is also possible that it will go on to affect his relationship with his wife Katherine (Grace Park). She has forgiven Eddie through his addiction and affairs, but will this be too much?
Episode 2 of 'A Million Little Things' titled 'Writings on the Wall' will air on Thursday, December 3, 2020, at 10 pm on ABC.
