'A Million Little Things' Season 2 Episode 18: Is Eddie involved in the death of [spoiler] at his lakehouse?
Spoilers for 'A Million Little Things' Season 2 Episode 17 'One Year Later'
Over the last couple of episodes, 'A Million Little Things' has been setting the tone for a new season. With new characters, a developing storyline and a brand new mystery, 'A Million Little Things' might be ready to give its fans a new chapter.
However, without an official announcement, there is not a lot to speculate. Yet here we are trying to figure out what is to come.
A promo released for the upcoming episode titled 'Mothers and Daughters' reveals that Eddie Saville (David Giuntoli) and Gary Mendez (James Roday) are the main focus of the episode. While Gary suddenly finds himself around new characters with endless possibilities in his future, Eddie takes a step back into his past.
"Just tell me everything you remember," Eddie urges his sister, "You were the last person to see Alex alive," Lindsay tells him.
Who is Alex? We don't know yet. What is her connection to Eddie and his sister Lindsay (Sprague Grayden)? We do not know yet. And how did she die? We still don't know.
When Lindsay returned to Eddie's life after almost a decade away, she returned soberly. But she made inquiries about a lakehouse and wonders "why we don't go there anymore?"
This seems to have triggered some repressed memories and/ or thoughts. In the previous episode 'One Year Later', Eddie dreams of his dead best friend Jon (Ron Livingston). Only, somewhere, the lines are blurred and Eddie's dream quickly turns into a nightmare when he thinks he sees Alex.
By the end of the episode, he recalls a certain neon nail polish that Alex had used, perhaps when they were at the lakehouse. Following the prompt, he calls up Lindsay requesting her to call him back.
The question is: Could Eddie be involved in Alex's death? If not, how did she die? And why is she coming to haunt the Savilles now?
'A Million Little Things' airs on Thursdays at 10/ 9c on ABC.
