'A Million Little Things' Episode 13: Is it time the makers reunite Delilah and Sophie?
Spoiler alert for 'A Million Little Things' Season 2 Episode 13 'Daisy'
Sophie Dixon (Lizzy Greene) has barely spoken to her mother Delilah (Stephanie Szostak) since she came clean about her affair with Eddie Saville (David Giuntoli) and Charlie's parentage. It has been a very difficult couple of months for Delilah who cannot seem to convince her daughter to give her a chance to hear her out. Since then, it has been a series of rebellious acts intended to disrespect Delilah, from staying out late into the night to disobeying any house rules.
Tensions between them have been the rise so much so that they unanimously decided to take a break from each other with Sophie going to live with the Howards momentarily. Even so, every time they crossed paths, Sophie wouldn't miss the chance to call Delilah out debauchery.
Fans suspected that it would be a while for the two to reconcile. "I had a falling out with my mom when I was around this age and it honestly took me years to get over it but we had to live together so we made it work. I know they can't drag it out forever but teenagers can hold onto things for a while," noted a fan.
Now, the official synopsis for the upcoming episode suggests that the mother-daughter duo will be face to face once again.
According to the synopsis, "Delilah and Sophie come together during a family emergency." Will this emergency prompt Sophie to talk to her mother? 'A Million Little Things' is a show about healing, forgiveness and recovery. The show had maintained these themes consistently, and perhaps it is time they apply to Sophie and Delilah's relationship. We do hope this 'emergency' has little to with Charlie though.
