'A Million Little Things' Season 2: Fans rejoice at series' return but feel Katherine is being treated unfairly
Spoilers for season 2 episode 1 of 'A Million Little Things'
ABC's 'A Millon Little Things' returned for season 2 and its excited fanbase couldn't have been happier to watch the ensemble cast reprising their roles from season 1. The close friend circle that consisted of Stephanie Szostak as Delilah Dixon, David Giuntoli as Eddie Saville, Romany Malco as Rome Howard, Christina Moses as Regina Howard, Allison Miller as Maggie Bloom, James Roday as Gary Mendez and Grace Park as Katherine Kim Saville took the story forward from where it ended in season 1.
In the first episode, Delilah goes into labour and is in the hospital surrounded by her family and friends. At the same time, Eddie comes out clean to Katherine -- telling her the truth about him being Delilah's baby's father.
But Eddie and Delilah welcoming their daughter Charlie into the world and Katherine being left heartbroken didn't sit well with fans who had some strong reactions to how the situation was unfair on Katherine. "How can they call it best friends when there is no one caring about Katherine? She is hurt and everyone is happy about a newborn baby is that you called as a best friend," questioned an agitated fan. "Katherine was hurt and no one seemed to care. They were brushing off her pain and acted like it was nothing. This is why I hope Katherine gets friends outside of this group. She has Carter but we don't see him that much," another reiterated.
Gary and Maggie have some troubles of their own -- they are finding it difficult to live together post-cancer. They have a disagreement about throwing away medicines and even though they make amends it points to a rift in between them. Meanwhile, Rome and Regina still continue to be at odds about having a baby of their own.
Fans who still haven't caught up on the first episode were anticipating some intense feelings coming their way, "'A Million Little Things' ain't even on where I live yet but I have a strong feeling it's gon f**k me up and I'm honestly ok with it because I could use a good cry," said a fan. Others were occupied with ensuring a seamless viewing experience. "I literally had to just mute all words related to 'Grey's Anatomy', 'A Million Little Things', and 'How to Get Away with Murder' because of the spoiler all over my timeline!!!" exclaimed a fan.
Either way, for many returning fans, the show brought back the charm of its first season. "I started watching 'A Million Little Things' and I cried within the first 3 minutes so," said a fan.
'A Million Little Things' airs on Thursdays at 9|8c on ABC.
