'90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way': Sumit reveals he was forced to hide his marriage from Jenny, but fans are not convinced

After Jenny found out that Sumit had been married for two years, Sumit comes forward and tells his side of the story but fans are still not convinced and want Jenny to go back to the US.

'90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way' left viewers shocked after it was revealed that Sumit was married and was staying without Jenny in secret. In the latest episode, the show saw Sumit coming forward and telling his side of the story. Speaking to the camera Sumit noted that he had been married for two and a half years and the marriage had been arranged by his family while he was still talking to Jenny. In the video, the producer can be heard asking Sumit if there was something he wanted to communicate to the world after the incident that took place.

"Yes, I lied a lot to everyone," Sumit said in the video.  "I did a lot of things wrong. I have been married for two and a half years. I was dating Jenny when my parents set up an arranged marriage and I barely knew the girl before I married her. Many times it happened that I wanted to tell Jenny but I was scared that  if I told her I was married, she would leave me."

Sumit admitted to his friend, Neeraj, that he still loved Jenny and wanted to be with her. While Sumit told his side of the story and acknowledges he was forced to marry someone, the audience was not happy with how things turned out for Jenny. Many called Sumit a liar for not informing Jenny about the marriage.

"Sumit is a pathological liar. I don't believe when he says that he is unhappy with his wife. I believe his plan was to use Jenny to get to live in the US," one fan noted. Others noted that it wasn't nice of him for getting Jenny involved in the drama.

"This is Sumit. He lied to an old woman and made her give up her life and move across the world and he was married. He is an ass. Don't be like Sumit," read another comment. Meanwhile, others had concerns about Jenny's safety in India as one comment read, "Sumit is so selfish. He doesn’t care that he’s putting Jenny in danger. His family might light her on fire or throw acid on her to disfigure her. It happens all the time in India."

Meanwhile, some of the viewers were confused as to how Sumit managed to be confident about appearing on a reality show knowing he was already married. "Ok so here is my 90-day fiance the other way question. If Sumit knows he's married why on earth is he doing a tv show with the other woman? Was he dropped on his head as a child?" another user noted.  Despite this, there were many who supported Sumit and applauded him for standing against long-standing tradition. While Jenny and Sumit are still together one can only know the fate of their relationship in the coming episodes.
