'90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way': Kenneth meets Armando's family in Mexico, fans say he should've learned Spanish

He felt uncomfortable as he did not know how to communicate with them since they didn't speak English

Kenneth Niedermeier and Armando Rubio have been living happily together, but the ultimate test of their relationship still awaits. Armando decides to take Kenneth to meet his family in the hope that they would get to know him better. At the same time, his daughter had been staying with his family and he finally wants her to stay with him and Kenneth. 

While he was looking forward to meeting his family, he was worried about what was in store for them. When Armando first came out to his family, they struggled to understand. However, they soon accepted him and allowed him to live the life he was craving for. While Armando's mother and sister were supportive, his father struggled to get comfortable.

Even though he accepted him for who he was, Armando's father made it clear he would take much more to get at ease with the new information. In the latest episode (October 11) Kenneth finally met Armando's family. He felt uncomfortable as he did not know how to speak to them since they didn't speak English. 

At the same time, he wondered if Armando's father would come out to meet him. While an awkward silence took over the place, Armando's mother offered to take them to meet her husband. While Armando's father came out, he did not spend a lot of time. Kenneth did not appreciate his father going back into the room. 

Kenneth thought it would have been good had he tried to get to know him more. Meanwhile, the pair decided to break the news of their engagement and it came as a shock to everyone. Kenneth thought Armrando's mother could have shown more emotions. While he had some thoughts about how the situation played out, fans were quick to point out how he should have put in more effort by learning to speak Spanish. "With all the apps out there along with software you mean to tell me Kenny didn’t even attempt to learn any Spanish?! Not even conversational?! Talking about some hola," read one comment. "Kenny I love you but it’s not like you surprise woke up in Mexico. You had a LOT of time to learn Spanish in a state that speaks a lot of it," read another. 

"Kenny I’m sorry you should have learned some basic Spanish. Cheese stick is doing full job interviews in Spanish," said another. "When you wanna root for Kenny & Armando but Kenny didn’t learn ONE Spanish word before moving to Mexico," wrote another.
