'90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way': Ariela's parents question Biniyam's status, wonder if he can take care of family
Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre have been staying in Ethiopia to raise their son. After waiting for a long time, Ariela finally got to welcome her parents in the country. She had been eagerly counting down days for them to visit as things were getting hard for her in Ethiopia.
Ariela has been vocal about missing home as she does not have anyone in the country. With her parents in town, she admitted it was nice to have a familiar face. However, not everything went according to plan. Biniyam had to answer a lot of questions about his finances as Ariela's parents were worried if Ethiopia was good enough to raise a child. Ariela's mother had previously hinted at how Biniyam had to find a nice apartment for his family to grow in. In the latest episode (November 15), she finally got a chance to see where they were living. Even though Biniyam thought it was a good place, Ariela's parents thought otherwise.
Her mother was quick to add that Biniyam had to look for a new house that would be big enough for Avi to play around. At the same time, they had a lot of questions about the money he was bringing into the family. Biniyam explained his earning was based on the number of jobs he does and how much of it he does it every day. Hearing this, Ariela's parents seemed concerned as Biniyam did not have a fixed income. Ariela's mother was quick to tell Biniyam that he had to look for a job that would bring in a steady flow of income. She was worried about how Avi and her daughter would live if there is no financial support.
At the same time, Ariela's father was shocked to see the condition of Ethiopia. He admitted it was an eye-opener for him as he had never seen anything outside the US. However, one thing concerned him was how safe the place was for his grandchild. Ariela's father wondered where his grandchild would play as there was no playground.
Ariela's parents were convinced she should come back to the US, but will she agree?
