Paul Staehle and Karine Martins' marriage had been on the rocks ever since the pair appeared on the show. She gave him an ultimatum of three months and asked to find a job. When he was not able to, Paul agreed to take them to Brazil.
While the show ended with the pair going to Brazil, a lot has happened since then. Paul accused Karine of trying to take their son away from him. Meanwhile, Karine reportedly went missing for a couple of days and blamed Paul for their problems. The pair had been having a lot of problems while Paul hinted she might be pregnant.
