'90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After': Are Asuelu and Kalani together? Tension rises as he leaves tell-all part
Asuelu Pulaa surprised everyone when he made an appearance on the show. Kalani Faagata admitted she was shocked to seem him but felt pleased they could be on the tell-all together. Despite sitting next to each other, the tension between the two had been visible throughout the show. When the season premiered, the pair had a hard time getting on the same page. With Kalani and Asuelu having different mindsets about their children and work, they struggled with their marriage. To make things worse, Asuelu's family was not too happy about his marriage with Kalani.
Going by their family tradition, they expected Asuelu to send money. Unfortunately, the pair did not have a lot of money to give him. This created a lot of problems between them and went to the extent where Asuelu's mother suggested it would be better for him to file for a divorce. Meanwhile, his sister threatened to hit Kalani. Appearing on the tell-all together, Asuelu was vocal about feeling disappointed seeing how his family treated Kalani. He stood up for his wife but was not happy seeing her family talk ill about him. Kalani's mother and sister were quick to reveal that they do not see the marriage lasting for a long time.
One of their biggest concerns was how Asuelu was not willing to hear criticism and would often get defensive. It did not take him long enough to get up and leave the tell-all. His behavior shocked everyone and forced Kalani to go look for him. However, she found out he had left and blocked her. Kalani revealed it was not uncommon for him to block her after a fight. While she seemed upset, the rest of the cast members were shocked to see his behavior. Host Shane Robinson was quick to ask what the future held for their marriage. Kalani admitted there were times when she loved being with Asuelu.
Recalling the memories when he helped with household work and was there for the children, she admitted he stepped up as a good father and husband. However, she revealed there were times when he was not open to listening. Previously, she had hinted at a divorce. However, looking at their social media it seems like the pair has been doing well. Asuelu often posts TikTok videos with his wife as the two spend their quarantine together.
