Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi were on the verge of celebrating their night after the wedding, but their enjoyment was cut short after finding out Glenda Standridge wasn't doing well. Angela had left her mother Glenda at home and had hoped that she would be able to meet Michael before her death. However, her condition started to deteriorate after Angela came to Nigeria. While she promised Angela that she would be there after she is back, things did not go the way they had anticipated. Angela got a call from her daughter Skyla, who informed her that Glenda had been rushed to the hospital.

Even though Angela managed to book a flight back home the next day, she was unsure of what may happen once she was back. Uncertain about her mother's condition, Angela admitted that she hadn't been feeling well. Speaking to the camera, Angela opened up about feeling anxious thinking about not having a chance to say her goodbyes to her mother. At the same time, she blamed herself. Angela thought that no one could take care of her mother as she did, and that could be one of the reasons for her to be in that position. While Angela had been fighting with emotions, she managed to reach the US on time. Angela was able to meet her mother but her health did not get better.

Angela had previously opened up about the chances of her mother passing away as she had not been keeping well. However, seeing it take the shape of reality, Angela could not control her emotions. Angela's mother passed away 10 days later. The reality star admitted it was hard to keep her emotions intact. To make things worse, she missed Michael. Angela admitted that she wanted her husband by her side as she faced the situation. Even though Angela had to put on a brave face for the sake of her grandchildren, she admitted to Michael that it had been hard without her mother.

As Angela battled with these emotions, she started questioning her relationship with Michael. Seeing how they would have to wait for nearly 18 months for Michael to get approved for a visa, Angela started wondering the chances of them surviving as a couple. Fortunately, Michael was able to calm her down. While Angela was happy about having someone like Michael by her side, she admitted that seeing a house without her mother was a hard pill to swallow.

'90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After' airs on Sundays at 8 pm ET on TLC.
