This story contains spoilers for '9-1-1 Lone Star' episode 4 titled 'Act of God'

'9-1-1 Lone Star' had been receiving a lot of criticism, mostly along the lines of how it hasn't been able to match up to its parent show '9-1-1' (which is set to return for Season 3 on March 16, 2020, as confirmed by Fox). But, the latest episode has turned the tables on this as Owen Strand (Rob Lowe), his team of firefighters and Michelle Blake (Liv Tyler) race against time to save those trapped by the tornado and fans cannot stop commending the team.

"'9-1-1 Lone Star' is a good ass show," said a fan. "'9-1-1 Lone Star' it's a good show watch it every Monday," chimed in another fan."Holy crap Rob Lowe is such a handsome man! Lol! If you haven't seen 911 lone Star.... Get on it... SO GOOD! IT NEEDS TO COME BACK!" noted a fan.

The show has turned out to be very special for viewers as it continued to show Owen's struggle with cancer and his worsening condition. "Thank you for this story, Fox. It hits so close to home and really is so beautiful. just, thank you," commented a fan.

Judd Ryder (Jim Parrack) was going through some faith issues in this episode, refusing to go to church with his wife, leading up to an argument. But his wife Grace (Sierra Aylina McClain) was with him throughout, supporting him through the dilemma. "Judd won the lottery marrying Grace & he better not ever forget it," noted a fan.

As first respondents, both teams had to deal with emotional trauma in this episode as two young children lose their father right in front of their eyes. "And sometimes they aren't successful [in saving lives]. In a weird way, this made the show a little more believable for me." noted a fan.

'9-1-1 Lone Star' airs on Mondays at 8 pm ET/ PT on FOX.
