'7 Little Johnstons': Jonah struggles with his grades, Amber cries wondering what more can she do
Jonah Johnston is having trouble getting good grades and it seems like it is a new problem in the lives of Trent and Amber Johnston. When Jonah graduated high school and it was time for him to go to college, Trent and Amber knew it was in his best interest if he stayed back at home.
The pair is known for making all the right decisions when it comes to their children and people were not surprised that they did not allow Jonah to go out and stay in a college hostel. Trent and Amber hoped that if he stayed back, he would be able to concentrate on his studies more and better his grades.
Unfortunately, it did not work the way they had expected. In the upcoming episode of '7 Little Johnstons', Jonah decided to tell his parents about his grades. He sat down with Trent and Amber and revealed that his grades were out and he did not do well. Hearing this news, Trent and Amber seemed disappointed but they were also worried about what went wrong.
Trent made it clear that anything and everything they put their heart into, they made sure they worked with honor. He hinted that studies were no different. However, Jonah did not seem too thrilled to hear this and stated that it wasn't the way he worked. Amber felt extremely hurt and helpless looking at the situation.
She broke down crying and confessed that she was unsure how she could fix this as she did not have any answers. Previously, Amber had hinted that when it comes to Jonah, things are a lot different as compared to the rest of the Johnston children.
She reflected on this when it was time for her daughter, Anna Johnston to start college. She had hinted that unlike Jonah, she wanted Anna to go out and become independent because she believes it is something that one needs to learn.
Meanwhile, Anna also compared her situation to Jonah's as there are still times when he needs his parents to help with things. She took the example of making a bed and reflected how she was capable of taking care of herself. While Trent and Amber have tried to make sure that Jonah succeeds in whatever he does, it seems like this news has made them question their actions.
