The Strays
Viewers had some great reviews on the internet for Netflix's new horror film, 'The Strays'. The movie is about a "light-skinned Black woman", whose "meticulously crafted life of privilege starts to unravel when two strangers show up in her quaint suburban town". This movie isn't about ghosts but has more of a technological thriller vibe to it. On an unfortunate day, a dangerous man uses the lead character's lost phone to track and follow her everywhere. The movie is a gift to the audience all the way from South Korea, proving the fact that Asian horror movies have set a benchmark for all the horror movie makers out there. Incantation
Released last year in June, Taiwanese supernatural film 'Incantation' is a movie about a mother who tries to protect her daughter from the curse of her past. The movie is scary with many jumpscares and unsettling gore that makes it hard to keep your eyes on the screen. One user wrote, "Have u seen Incantation on Netflix? I couldn’t sleep after watching that movie," to which another user replied with, "Incantation on Netflix is the wildestttt horror movie I’ve ever seen." Tsai Hsuan-ye leads the movie as Li Ronan, who discovers something sinister while filming a documentary in a rural village. The evil spirit attached to the curse then begins to haunt her six-year-old daughter.

When two women connect through a phone call, their lives change forever. The unsettling part of this movie is that the phone call comes through a disconnected old phone, where a woman calls the lead to tell her that she is being tortured. This is Another Asian film that surpasses the expectations that people have from authentic horror movies. Viewers felt physically sick after watching this movie. 'Fall' isn't about demons, but might trigger people who have a fear of heights. The survival thriller follows two friends, Becky and Hunter, who climb a 2,000 feet tall radio tower and get stranded at the top with no way down. The worst part that ensues after being stranded on the tower is the hallucinations that come after. The movie will surely give you a case of vertigo and will leave you with a fear of heights.
