1) 'My Dentist's Murder Trial' (TV show)
HBO is no stranger to producing some of the high-quality mini-series. And after the massive success of 'The Last of Us', HBO is teaming up yet again with Pascal in the upcoming mini-series, 'My Dentist's Murder Trial'. 'My Dentist's Murder Trial' is based on James Lasdun's New Yorker article 'My Dentist’s Murder Trial: Adultery, False Identities, and a Lethal Sedation'. An interestingly terrifying fact regarding the story is that the New Yorker's article is based on the true story of Dr Gilberto Nunez, who in, 2015, was indicted for the murder of his friend Thomas Kolman. Nunez is said to have given a substance to Kolman which resulted in his death. It has also been revealed that Nunez also had two forgery charges to his name with one of them posing as a CIA Agent. Nunez's crime does not end there, though. Nunez also allegedly had an affair with Kolman's wife. In 2018, Nunez was found not guilty of murder but was sent to prison for his other crimes. Pascal is set to star in this show along with David Harbour, both of them also serving as the executive producers. 'My Dentist's Murder Trial' is set to be written and directed by Steve Conrad. The upcoming series is currently in the development stage.
2) 'Freaky Tales' (Movie)
'Freaky Tales' is set to be written and directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. With an intriguing title, 'Freaky Tales' raises the curiosity of viewers. 'Freaky Tales' will have several historical events included in the movie, both real and fictional. Set in 1987 in Oakland, 'Freaky Tales' is set to follow not one, not two, but four interconnected stories that "will tell about the love of music, movies, people, places and memories beyond our knowable universe." As creator Ryan Fleck grew up in Oakland, his life experiences are said to be reflected in the movie. 'Freaky Tales' promises an interesting genre that would give us an immersive experience of the movie. Apart from Pascal, the upcoming movie stars Ben Mendelsohn, Dominique Thorne, Jay Ellis, Angus Cloud, Jack Champion, and Keir Gilchrist as well.
3) 'The Uninvited' (Movie)
Who doesn't love comedy? In fact, in today's age, where only action and superhero movies are having the edge, a laugh-out-loud comedy film is much necessary. And this is exactly what the upcoming movie Pascal stars in is about. 'The Uninvited' is set to be written and directed by Nadia Conners. Though the official plot of the movie is kept under wraps, 'The Uninvited' is set to begin with a stranger crashing a party, which would eventually lead to a series of events that sparks a comedy of errors. The plot also focuses on the characters' reordering of life. 'The Uninvited' has an ensemble cast that stars Pedro Pascal, Walton Goggins, Rufus Sewell, Elizabeth Reaser, Lois Smith, Eva De Dominici, Kate Comer, Annie Korzen, Michael Panes, Bobby Burkich, and Roland Rubio.
