City Girls’ JT, whose real name is Jatavia Shakara Johnson, suffered a wardrobe malfunction when she landed on stage to present an award at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs). The young musician stepped on stage with her musical partner Yung Miami in a sheer silver gown that exposed much of her underwear and private areas.
 
Social media users took notice of it and did not waste any time trolling the singer and taking a dig at her stylist. The City Girls member quickly grabbed one of the top spots on the trending list over the weekend as the Internet could not stop talking about the expose. However, the 29-year-old crooner took the matter into her hands and asked her fans to “relax” as her panties were on.

JT gives back to trolls, asks fans to 'relax’

When a fan tweeted about JT’s wardrobe malfunction during 2022 BBMAs, JT decided to revert that quickly got everyone’s attention. The fan posted, “Why nobody told @ThegirlJT to put her kitty away” to which JT replied, “I have on black Panties RELAX.” For the unversed, 2022 BBMAs were held at the iconic MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

‘She’s literally being swallowed by the dress’

Social media users flocked to Twitter as soon as they got to know about JT’s wardrobe exposure. “Yeah I blame JT professional style team, they should have made sure the dress didn’t rise before she went on stage. The tailoring was AWFUL”, said one user as another posted, “Whoever tailored it did not take JT's height into consideration lol shes literally being swallowed by the dress.” One added, “Ah they did JT dirty with that dress...like mama lets research.”
 
The next one shared, “Just start watching some of these Billboard Award….was JT from city girls cat hanging out that dress or was I tripping.” One tweeted, “I love the city girls and I love JT more and her stylist need to respectfully go to hell for that f**king dress because you can literally see up under it. All the silver was so beautiful but her vagina almost hanging out that’s not cute.” Another said, “Why nobody pulled JT’s dress down before she went on that stage?” One said, “I love jt i wish they told her to pull her dress down”, as another concluded, “No one told jt anything?
