'P***y Talk': City Girls-Doja Cat music video's sex appeal wins hearts, fans say they can't stop watching
City Girls and Doja Cat have released the official music video for their collaborative single 'P***y Talk' on July 6. Watch it below. The visual is accompanied by the release of City Girls' new sophomore studio album, 'City on Lock', which features Doja Cat and other guest appearances from Yo Gotti, Lil Baby, and Lil Durk.
The LP follows their mixtape 'Period' and their debut studio album, 'Girl Code'. The latter released in 2018 via Quality Control Music and has sold over 200,000 units and peaked in the top half of the Billboard 200 at No. 55. 'Girl Code' was released six months after 'Period' and with the remix of the song 'Twerk' featuring Cardi B, the hip-hop duo landed their first entry on the US Billboard Hot 100 after debuting at No. 92. 'Twerk' peaked at No. 9 on the chart in December 2018, and was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Doja Cat has recently shared songs with Lil Wayne ('Shimmy') and The Weeknd ('In Your Eyes'). Her Nicki Minaj remix, titled 'Say So' topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart at No. 1.
In their Daps-directed new music video, Yung Miami, JT and Doja Cat show off their sexual prowess while rapping of their currencies ("Euros, dollars and yens"), cars ("Bentleys, Rovers and Benz") and designer goods ("Birkin, Gucci, Chanel/... Louis, Pucci, YSL"). The clip features the trio balancing their play hard, work hard lifestyle dressed as businesswomen working in an office, and later donning jungle cat attire. Doja Cat digs into a filing cabinet with folders of different types of men they're after such as foreign princes, US rappers, CEOs, athletes. In the second half, the three kitties turn the seduction up a notch as they dig their fingers into grapefruits, papayas and flowers.
Fans on Twitter are loving the new track and especially pointed out the "SEX APPEAL" of the video. "Girl that ass was clapping yes ma’am!!!! Y’all looked toooo good! You definitely was more comfortable on camera in this one," said a fan while another wrote, "Y’all could say Doja is also a City Girl and I wouldn’t flinch. The chemistry is *chef’s kiss*." One fan gave a "Round of applause". Another fan said, "I couldn’t stop watching." One fan wrote, "THIS WAS EVERYTHING HOLY F**K (sic)."
