Saucy Santana slammed for defending City Girls' JT's problematic tweets on 'dark skin': 'Baby you are not famous'
What started out as expressive tweets (possibly without ill intent) back in 2018 by JT of City Girls, has recently turned frantically sour on a social media platform with users that have progressively become more sensitive. Whether such sensitivity holds justification or not we will leave it up to you.
JT has brought on the ire of Twitter during the late hours of December 6 and the following early morning when her old tweets began circulating online. Now deleted, one such tweet by the singer read, "I love pretty dark skin girls not tooo crispy na! But the milky ways be the shit."

After receiving backlash from fans, JT then apologized and stated that she removed them, noting that it was "dumb." She said, "I barely was on Twitter last night a fan sent the tweet & I removed it sorry if I offended anyone I probably was arguing with somebody back then or some dumb sh*t. I don't hate y'all or myself I just be talking sh*t!"
JT also continued with more tweets to explain and said her older comments came at a time when she was a "regular." She wrote, "What y'all need to understand is I was regular! Like a hood bitch fr arguing daily fighting etc just on bullshit period most of my tweets was about local hoes in my neighborhood stop bringing that shit into this life it has NOTHING to do with that!"
"Just like y'all tweet crazy shit to ppl cause y'all have no platform I was the same way! & back then social media wasn't this sensitive!" she added in another deleted message.

What's more, is now rapper Saucy Santana has taken to his social media to call out cancel culture and defend the City Girls member. In a string of tweets, Santana began, "Before 'WE' became famous we use to sit at home looking fucked up, priorities ain’t together talking big shit on Twitter about EVERYBODY! The same sh*t y’all regular bitches do NOW. Why y’all be so surprised?"
Before “WE” became famous we use to sit at home looking fucked up, priorities ain’t together talking big shit on Twitter about EVERYBODY! The same shit y’all regular bitches do NOW. Why y’all be so surprised?

He then wrote, "Imma start calling y’all jobs and getting y’all “cancelled.” "And respectfully imma still talk about me a bitch with my friends! I just don’t do it on the internet. I have a platform! U gotta put respect on ppl name now. I don’t comment under blogs, laugh or like post about ppl. HOWEVER, I am fenna call my homegirls!" Santana added in his latest tweet. Fans aren't letting JT's tweet slide easily though and are adding to the backlash with criticism now aimed at Santana. "santana baby you are not famous.........," said a fan while another wrote, "we??? not plus ones tryna ride coat tails every time their famous friend starts trending." One fan said, "But if we gonna be totally honest, you’re a plus 1."

One user says, "Oh we still gon take you down on the media so it don’t even matter." Meanwhile, one fan showed support for Santana's sentiment, saying, "They sit online dragging and saying nasty things about people but want to hold others accountable. Hypocrisy."
