Actress Ellen Pompeo, star of the long-running TV drama series 'Grey's Anatomy', won the Female TV Star at the 2020 People's Choice Awards. The other stars nominated in the category included Christina Applegate for 'Dead to Me', Danai Gurira for 'The Walking Dead', Mariska Hargitay for 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit', Mandy Moore for 'This Is Us', Sandra Oh for 'Killing Eve', Lili Reinhart for 'Riverdale', and Sofia Vergara for 'Modern Family'.

The official People's Choice Awards Twitter handle tweeted, "Two wins? That's just (Mc)Dreamy! Ellen Pompeo and Greys Anatomy" followed by the hashtags #TheDramaTVStar, #TheShow, and #PCAs. In a different tweet, the handle said, "A McDreamy appearance AND #TheFemaleTVStar of 2020?! This is a big week for #GreysAnatomy stans. Congrats to our favorite surgeon on TV, @EllenPompeo! @GreysABC"
