'Ugly inside out': '1000-lb Sisters' star Tammy Slaton's mom Darlene dubbed 'disgusting' for picking dogs over children
DIXON, KENTUCKY: Tammy Slaton is approved of her surgery and it's her surgery day being featured in the recently released episode of '1000-lb Sisters.' Before the surgery took place, almost all of Tammy's family came to visit her in the hospital, except her mother, Darlene Slaton. Well, it seems that the mother is concerned more about her dogs than her daughters.
Darlene asks her daughter, Amy Slaton, "Promise me you will call me as soon as she gets done with the surgery and stuff." Listening to this, Amy asked her mother, "Do you wanna go?" Without any hesitation, Darlene replied, "You know I can't go, I can't leave my babies," referring to her pet dogs. Amy suggested that she could have Kevin and Charlene come over to look after her mother's dogs. Amy claimed, "They (dogs) will be all right for one night." Darlene replied, "No, it'll be more than one night."

'Their mom is disgusting'
In the recently released episode, Darlene claimed, "If something goes wrong, you'll stay over, don't tell me you won't." To this, Amy replied, "Yes and you would too." It seems Darlene did not have similar plans for her daughter. She said, "I know I would but I gotta worry about my babies."
Listening to Darlene constantly care more about her dogs more than about her daughter who is about to get a risky surgery done, a fan slammed the Slaton sisters' mother, "Their mom is disgusting." Another uploaded the video saying, "This is sick" with the caption, "Darlene choosing her dogs over her daughter???" "Tammys mom cares more about the dogs than Tammy, now we understand how Tammy got that big," a fan contemplated the reason for Tammy gaining weight. Another slammed Darlene, "Mom cares more about her dogs than going to see Tammy before the surgery."

Moreover, a fan wondered, "Ok what is wrong with Mama?? Oh my. Amy your Mother has never been their for y’all.. Take it from a almost 55 yr old, that doesn’t change unless & until she takes responsibility for her part. Sadly." "That momma is ugly inside and out," a fan called out Darlene. Another fan recollected Darlene's saying to have a better understanding, "The momma said she’s very sad that she can’t make it. But Amy said there are people that would watch her dogs."

It seemed that Amy too indirectly slammed her mother for not being there for Tammy. She said "If Gaze and Glenn need me, I don't care if they live on the other side of the planet, in Japan. My a** will be there for my kid." She added, "I'll even sell my house to be there." Well, it seems Darlene had more excuses to explain why she won't be going to the hospital to see her daughter.
