Worst-dressed celebs at Billboard Music Awards: From Miranda Lambert to Teyana Taylor
LIZZO
The 34-year-old 'Good as Hell' singer arrived in black voluminous, shoulderless gown from Jean Paul Gaultier Couture in spring/summer 2022. She paired the gown with layers of gold hoop earrings and went for a slicked-back hairstyle. And yes, a matching black lipstick. Loved the boldness but the gown, somehow, didn't prove to be head-turning.
SABRINA CARPENTER
The singer wore a retro look. She was spotted wearing a floor-length Moschino gown. However, Carpenter’s hairstyle was a miss with the headband and bangs situation. She could have opted for any other hairstyle for the whole look to work out.
TATE MCRAE
Canadian artist Tate McRae was among the early arrivals at the 2022 VMAs. The 19-year-old singer stunned the spectators in a teal suede cut-up look but gave an impression of a cavewoman.
CHLOE FINEMAN
She wore a custom quilted look created by Threeasfour, a team of New York-based artists who use fashion as their primary medium. However, the look was a thumbs down as it looked like silver blanket wrapped around her.
AVA MAX
It seems bright green was the color of the night at the VMAs. Among many celebs, Ava Max also chose to step out in this shade of green. She wore Coperni with Bea Bongiasca jewelry. The look wasn't a total flop but ended up looking average and not meant for the big night!
CONAN GRAY
'Superache' singer Conan Gray wore a sheer attire with brushed-up brows. Plus points for the experimentaion with gender norms in fashion but a big thumbs down for the flowy look that he chose to carry.
CHLOE FLOWER
The musician wore a polka dot dress from Celine with a black hat and white block heels. It was one of the looks that really didn't pop out at the red carpet.
SHENSEEA
The 'Blessed' singer wore a beautiful silver sequin bralette top that had chain draped detailing. She paired it up with a floor-length skirt. But we wonder, what happened to her heels' choice?
ASHLEY GRAHAM
Her bodycon dress with asymmetric front cutouts with silver earrings and ankle-wrapped sandals was neither a yay nor a nay!
LATTO
Latto was also spotted in neon green. She wore a mini blazer dress by Ludo Bokuchava that had side slant pockets. The 23-year-old artist paired her attire with some sparkling oversized earrings, a round gold clutch, and square open-toe block heels. Not a total miss but surely, she could have done more.
