Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid ‘getting along’ post split, says source: 'Doing it for their daughter'
Supermodel Gigi Hadid and former One Direction star Zayn Malik are "getting along just fine" as they want the best for their daughter Khai. They're trying to work things out as co-parents.
Malik, who shares the 16-month-old daughter with Gigi Hadid, is doing his best to prove himself a “responsible father”. On Tuesday, January 25, Us Weekly reported about the current situation of the former couple's relationship. A source claimed, "Gigi and Zayn are getting along just fine. They've been in each other's lives in some way or another for the past few weeks."

Since their breakup, the couple has been making headlines for their changed looks. In November, Hadid went back to her blonde look and on Friday, January 14, Malik took Instagram by storm, debuting his new beard look. In the Instagram post, Malik's beard looked noticeably longer as he rocked his look with a pair of black sunglasses. He completed his look with a leather bomber jacket layered on top of a knitted sweater. While he didn't caption the picture, the comments section was flooded with praise and blessings from his fans.
Malik and Hadid spiltt up in October 2020 after the Pillow Talk Singer was charged with four criminal offenses of harassment after an alleged altercation with Gigi’s mother, Yolanda Hadid.
Court documents obtained by Us at the time reported, “shoved [Yolanda] into a dresser causing mental anguish and physical pain” after abusing her. also warned the reality star, 58, to stay away from his daughter Khai.
Amid these allegations, the One Direction alum also released a social media statement that read, "This was and still should be a private matter but it seems for now there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been 'leaked' to the press."
He added, "I am hopeful though for healing for all involved with the harsh words shared and more importantly, I remain vigilant to protect Khai and give her the privacy she deserves."
