The relationship between British pop star Dua Lipa and her American boyfriend Anwar Hadid seems to have hit the rocks. It is being rumored that the lovers might be heading for a split after the fans failed to spot them together from the last few weeks. Dua Lipa has been dating Anwar Hadid for the last two years and the duo has made several public appearances since then. 
 
Fans seemed to be heartbroken after coming across Dua Lipa’s breakup rumors as they were already sad over Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid’s split in October and the most recent Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello ending their relationship. Sources have spilled the beans that Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid apparently fielded the idea of putting a full stop to the relationship as their work schedules were keeping them too occupied. For the unversed, Anwar Hadid is the son of Yolanda Hadid and brother of supermodels and actresses Gigi and Bella Hadid.

Are Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid heading towards split?

While Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid have stayed mum on the rumors, a source spilled the gossip to The Sun, saying, “The couple floated the idea about putting the brakes on their romance last month as travelling so much and being apart is proving tough.” The source added, “Their relationship is going through a crisis and appears to be on the rocks.”
 
Dua Lipa is currently recording her new album in London, whereas, Anwar is busy in New York. The latter reportedly dropped a hint on Instagram recently about things not going too well for him. He declared everyone should live in the moment and be grateful for what they have. Dua and Anwar first bonded over their music in early June 2019, as reported by TMZ. The publication had then revealed, “Things really started to snowball around early June" after he found out about her split with her beau. Isaac Carew. Sources told the site that the duo “went out, had a good time, and liked each other enough to run it back.”

Social media users have been noticing the absence of Dua Lipa and Anwar together on social media. “Why the hell Dua Lipa, Anwar Hadid, Shawn Mendes, and Camila Cabello are breaking up? I can't handle it”, said one user as another posted, “Just noticing Dua Lipa hasn’t been posting with anwar at all recently… this might be my chance???” One shared, “The #hadid family plan. Get a pr beard stunt contract and milk it to the end Anwar Hadid and Dua Lipa contract looks to be ended.”
 
The next one tweeted, “Have dua lipa and Anwar Hadid broken up?? they haven’t posted each other or their dog in a while and i’m missing that dog content from my feed” and another stated, “I’m calling it, but I think Dua Lipa and Anwar broke up.” One fan shared, “If she s not spotted with Anwar then I believe it proves my thought that they are broken up.” Meanwhile, another concluded, “I really feel sorry for Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid. They were a perfect couple. I want to know the reason of breaking up so bad.”
