Was Yungeen Ace harassed by cops at JayDaYoungan’s funeral? Fans say 'disrespect is at an all-time high’
BOGALUSA, LOUISIANA: The funeral for rapper JayDaYoungan was held on Sunday, August 7, and saw more than 300 people in attendance. The late rapper’s frequent collaborator and friend Yungeen Ace too showed up to pay his final condolences. JayDaYoungan died at the age of 24 on July 27 after five men shot him while he sat with his father outside his home.
The funeral proceedings were held in peace but Yungeen Ace and his crew were apparently harassed by the cops. The cops pulled up at the funeral service and a few videos that surfaced on the Internet showed how they caused trouble by just being there. The funeral was held on the heels of another rapper's killing - Young Slo-Be was shot dead on August 5 in Manteca. Other murdered rappers include VNZA, who was killed in Missouri back in June 2021, and Brooklyn rapper Supa Gates, who was shot multiple times at St John’s Place near Troy Avenue in Crown Heights in April 2021.
