Spoilers for ‘Your Honor’ Episode 4

The mystery doesn't seem to die anytime soon in Showtime's ‘Your Honor’ after Adam Desiato (Hunter Doohan) got entangled in a hit-and-run. In the third episode, the Baxter family's other son Carlo Baxter (Jimi Stanton) — “a vicious, dangerous racist” — is brought out from behind the bars for the funeral of his brother, Rocco Baxter (Benjamin Hassan Wadsworth).

When Gina Baxter (Hope Davis) finds out Kofi Jones (Lamar Johnson) had a hand in the crime, she whispers something in her son Carlo's ears and it seems like an order to kill the young Black boy. Will he die in the next episode? As the case becomes more and more complex, will the three clues lead to the real killer and expose Adam? As of now, his father Michael Desiato (Bryan Cranston) has hidden all proof to protect his son but the bloody rag, dog and inhaler could reveal the secret.

A still from 'Your Honor' (Showtime)

The dog and the bloody rag has a trail of its own — remember how Django carried it away from Michael while he was cleaning the car? Michael doesn't have a clue that it's hidden in his own house and in the new episode, Adam's grandmother Elizabeth (Margo Martindale) is all set to enter their lives. Will the dog bring it out during a family dinner and will Elizabeth see it too?

Titled ‘Part Four’, the summary of the new episode reads: “Adam moves from one dangerous liaison to another as tensions escalate; Elizabeth protects her grandson; a family dinner is plagued by secrets and lies.”

Going by the synopsis, it seems like the skeletons could pop out of the closet. And it could all be thanks to the dog. “Why do I have this feeling that the dog is going to pull out the bloody shirt when some outside Guests are At The House. #YourHonor,” one fan posted on Twitter. Another wrote, “Men don’t clean so I know for a fact that bloody rag the dog took is gonna be the damning evidence when they get a warrant.”

One Reddit fan also pointed to the same. “The dog taking away the bloody towel was not clever, we shouldn't have known that happened — just maybe seen the dog around. If a gun is shown in the first act, it will go off. The worst is the scene at the crash aftermath and the inhaler,” he posted.

As the dog has been a major character since the beginning, he may have a huge part to play, perhaps, in unintentionally exposing the crime. Talking about the dog's role, Hunter Doohan said in an interview with TV Insider, “When I got down [to New Orleans] the first time, last year, we just started hanging out. And we had the dog trainer bring over the dog that plays Django in the show so we could bond with him as well, which was really fun.”

So, will the cat be out of the bag as the dog pulls out the bloody rag? Ha! You never know. Written by David Matthews, the fourth episode aka ‘Part Four’ will premiere on December 27, 2020, on Showtime Channel. You can also catch the show on Showtime’s official website and on the Showtime App.
