Young Thug ‘Punk’: Release date, how to live stream and all about rapper’s sophomore album
It is time for Young Thug’s fans to finally rejoice as the rapper is now all set to drop his much-awaited second studio album called ‘Punk’. The Atlanta native most recently released a song called ‘Tick Tock’ and also announced that his latest full-length record will hit the Internet in October.
Young Thug’s ‘Punk’ is a follow-up to the rapper’s debut album called ‘So Much Fun’, which was released in August 2019. The album got a thundering response from the fans as well as from the critics as it peaked at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart. To make the album memorable, Thug had tapped artists like Future, Machine Gun Kelly, Gunna, Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Duke, 21 Savage, Doe Boy, Lil Keed, Quavo, Juice Wrld, Nav, J Cole, and Travis Scott. With ‘So Much Fun’, the 30-year-old hip-hop artist also delivered hit singles like ‘The London’ and ‘Hot.’

Release date
Speaking of the release date, Young Thug’s ‘Punk’ will be up on the Internet on October 15. The album is expected to be released via Atlantic Records and YSL Records along with 300 Entertainment. The rapper has not yet provided the pre-save/pre-order option. MEAWW will keep you posted.

Concept
Young Thug had first premiered the song ‘Tick Tock’ music during a performance at Rolling Loud Miami in July 2021. Though the rapper has not revealed, the track is expected to make it to the official tracklist. While premiering the new single at the festival, Thug had also announced the album saying, “Yo, so listen. I’m about to put this album out, right? It’s called Punk. If I can perform something off of the album say, ‘Hell yeah!’” as reported by Complex.
Thug had first hinted about his sophomore album back in 2019. While talking to Fader about the title of the project earlier, he had said, “So Much Fun is like nothing to be thought about. It’s only for fun purposes. The name of the album is directly what it means.” Thug first shot to fame with singles like ‘Danny Glover along with appearances on hit singles like T.I.'s ‘About the Money’, Tyga's ‘Hookah’ and Rich Gang's ‘Lifestyle’.
