'Wynonna Earp' Season 4 Episode 5: Rosita returns as a 'scorned woman', fans are excited to see Doc's reaction

Now that Rosita is back, we wonder whether she will stick around. Will Rosita be part of Team Earp or their newest rivals, the Clantons?

Spoilers for 'Wynonna Earp' Season 4 Episode 5 'Holy War Part 1'

Fans of 'Wynonna Earp' had long wondered where the revenant, Rosita Bustillos (Tamara Duarte) had disappeared to at the end of the second season. Rosita was a bartender at Shorty's who soon grew close to Doc Holliday (Tim Rozon) and began a sexual relationship with him, continuing even after learning that Doc got Wynonna Earp (Melanie Scrofano) pregnant. Only Doc and Waverly Earp (Dominique Provost-Chalkley) knew of Rosita being a revenant. Rosita was also really smart and with degrees in biochemistry and engineering, she helped Jeremy Chetri (Varun Saranga) create a serum for Black Badge Division (BBD) agent, Xavier Dolls (Shamier Anderson).

However, Wynonna never really warmed up to Rosita -- was it because she was a revenant or because of her relationship with Doc? We thought we would never find out after Rosita tried to kidnap Wynonna's baby, Alice, soon after birth, so she could sell the baby for safe passage out of Purgatory and the Ghost River Triangle. Rosita disappeared after that and all but forgotten. Fans wondered where Rosita had gone to and with the Earp curse being broken at the end of the third season, did that mean she was gone for good?

However, this week's episode of 'Wynonna Earp' gave us all a huge surprise when the scorned woman that Wynonna had been warned about turned up at the end of the episode in a blazing red coat -- when she turned around, it was revealed to be Rosita. Fans were excited about Rosita's return and we are too, anticipating her interactions with Doc and Wynonna.

One fan tweeted, "So so happy, I missed Rosita so much #WynonnaEarp #WynonnaWatchParty #TamaraDuarte." Another wrote, "F**k yes. Gimme more Rosita. #Carboner #WynonnaEarp." A fan opined, "Welcome back home rosita @TAMARADUARTE we didnt forget what you did but we miss you #WynonnaEarp." 

A fan simply tweeted, "Rosita. Is. Back. #WynonnaEarp." Another fan wrote, "I always wondered how Doc felt about Rosita trying to steal Alice and kill Wynonna. I hope there are words. @realtimrozon @MelanieScrofano #WynonnaEarp."

It's easy to guess why Rosita may feel scorned -- after all, Doc's pull towards Wynonna has always been stronger than his pull to any other woman and Doc and Wynonna always seem to be drawn to each other. Now that Rosita is back, we wonder whether she will stick around and we sure hope she does. Will Rosita be part of Team Earp or their newest rivals, the Clantons?
