'Limited speech and cognitive skills': WWE legend Jerry Lawler out of ICU and ‘recovering’ after suffering THIRD ‘massive stroke’
FORT MYERS, FLORIDA: WWE Hall of Famer Jerry 'The King' Lawler was recently hospitalized after a severe stroke on Monday, February 6, but has now been released and is no longer in the ICU. The 73-year-old was admitted to the hospital this week after experiencing a medical emergency at his Fort Myers home during lunch with his friends. He underwent surgery and is currently recovering.
'The King' suffered his first stroke back in 2012 while providing commentary on an episode of WWE 'Monday Night Raw' and suffered his second stroke at his Memphis home in 2018. He claimed that he was unable to speak for three days and that he only regained his ability to speak after finally waking up in the hospital the second time.
