SAN FRANSISCO, CALIFORNIA: Chelsea Green was recently seen in a WWE RAW fight where she faced her contender Asuka. Fans couldn't help but be impressed by their idol's looks and talent. Earlier this year, she entered the Women's Battle Royal Match as #20 and was eliminated by Rhea Ripley within five seconds.

Green also set a record for the shortest time spent in a women's Royal Rumble match with that match against Ripley. Meanwhile, Asuka defeated Green in the recent match. However, fans are happy to see her fight and appreciate her hot looks.

Who is Chelsea Green's husband?

Chelsea Green married the love of her life, Matt Cardona. Cardona and Green were officially married on December 31, 2021, in Las Vegas. AEW Women's Champion Britt Baker, AAA Reina de Reinas Championship Deonna Purrazzo, Taya Valkyrie and John Morrison, WWE stars Dolph Ziggler, Maryse and The Miz were some of the familiar faces at the ceremony, according to Sportz Wiki. The couple started dating in 2017 and eventually got engaged in 2019.

Before getting married Green said to Wrestling INC, "I'm getting married," Green said. "It's so crazy because I'm 30 years old. I just turned 30. If you had asked me when I was 16, 'When do you think you'll get married?' I thought for sure that I was going to be 24 years old, married, and having babies. Now I'm 30, and I'm in no rush at all. I've got my 3 cats, I have my 2 dogs, we have our house with a pool. I feel like we're good. I'm happy, but I will say, once I met Matt, and I knew that was going to be the guy I was going to be with the rest of my life, I was ready to marry him. It's been weird."

Further she said, "He proposed to me two and a half years ago. We started planning our wedding last year. Of course, Covid hit. Now I'm 30 years old, I've been engaged for two and a half years, and I'm ready to get married. It's not that big of a deal anymore. Finally, we got the go-ahead that Canada is opening back up. The borders are opening, and we're able to go back and forth without quarantining for two weeks, which means that I can have my wedding. My family can come into town, and not have to go back to Canada and quarantine, all the good stuff. I'm so excited to be sharing a couple of my wedding details."

She later claimed, Although I want to keep it a little bit secret, and a little bit private, it feels like I'm not being transparent if I don't share the biggest thing I got going on in my life right now. Aside from being a free agent in a week or two, this is huge. I won't tell you where we're getting married right now, but I will tell you that we are getting married on New Year's Eve. I'm so excited." Cardona has also stated in an interview with TV Insider, "I didn’t want to date a wrestler. I won’t say I was peer pressured into dating you, but Cody [Rhodes] and Brandi set us up. I went on one date, which turned into two dates. The next thing I know her toothbrush is at my house. We weren’t working together, so we weren’t talking about wrestling. It was a normal life. I think once she got signed by WWE, and I had to hear about her days in the Performance Center it was like, “This is why I don’t want to date a wrestler.”

The couple has shared their plans to have kids, Green says, "I think that is definitely the natural step. With Cassie [Lee] and [Shawn] Spears getting pregnant too. I feel like 2023-2024 you’re going to see a lot of turnaround for the women of my age group. It’s also hard because unlike Matt I can’t keep wrestling. I do have to take time off and focus on just being a mom. I have to make sure it’s the right time for me, but it’s never the right time?"
