'Worst Cooks in America' returned to our screens on Sunday night for Season 18 and introduced us to 16 new contestants who have zero culinary skills.

If you are someone who watched the previous seasons of 'Worst Cooks in America', you would know how unfortunate these cooks are when it comes to cooking.

This season, joining the series' primary judge chef Anne Burrell is celebrity chef, author, and host Alton Brown. The 16 contestants all entered the kitchen vying for a chance to win $25,000 and for a chance to prove that they are the best among the worst.

With Alton Brown the new judge this season and the mentor for Blue team, fans cannot get enough of him and his snide remarks at contestants.

He brings his energy to the kitchen which is even giving viewers a hard time to keep up with him and we can't imagine how the contestants in the kitchen might be feeling.

After the initial challenge where contestants cooked a meal of their choice for the judges, Alton revealed that the ones who he picks for his team are the ones who are abject, desperate, and borderline helpless.

He ends up picking Mike, Kelly, Leo, Kevin, Monica, Jefferson and Joe in his team. For their main challenge, he teaches them how to prepare chicken soup and chicken skin sandwich. Just seeing him go around the kitchen sharing his remarks about every cook will have you entertained throughout.

Taking to Twitter post the episode, fans share how much they were excited for the new season just because Alton was in it. Fans also claimed that this season will be hilarious just because of him.

"Just watching tonights #WorstCooksinAmerica and I'm soooo excited alton brown is the other chef! Love him!" a fan wrote. Another shared, "I love it Alton Brown is going to give these #WorstCooksinAmerica anxiety."
