Former 'Real Housewives of Orange County' star Meghan King shocked the world when she suddenly announced her wedding news to President Joe Biden's nephew Cuffe Biden Owens in October 2021. The couple's whirlwind romance took everybody by surprise, as within a span of just four weeks, Meghan and Cuffe not only matched on a dating app and began dating but also planned a surprise wedding.
But it looks like there is trouble in paradise, as according to reports, Cuffe and Meghan split up just within two months of getting married. Hawk-eyed followers of Meghan's Instagram noticed how the former reality star hasn't posted any pictures of her new husband while posting Christmas festivities pictures with her family. She also discretely removed his last name from her name on her Instagram page.

Page Six first reported the news of the couple's split, by revealing that a source told the outlet that Meghan has been telling her friends that they broke up. Radar Online too reported that a source told the outlet that the couple's relationship was allegedly struggling due to the distance. "The relationship apparently struggled due to them living in different states. Sources tell us Cuffe lives in Los Angeles and Meghan owns a home in St. Louis which is near her ex. Sources tell us Meghan has not been wearing her wedding ring and took Owens off her Instagram profile," stated the outlet.
The news of their split comes in the face of the couple recently celebrating their two-month anniversary. On December 4th, Meghan took to Instagram to reveal that Cuffe and she were celebrating their two-month anniversary together at a hotel. She remarked about how she felt like she had been married to her husband for a "million years" in the post. "We sent the kids to stay at grandma and grandpa’s, we got a hotel 3 miles from our house, and I slipped into the pajamas I’ve been waiting to wear for a special occasion. We feel like we’ve been married for a million years (thanks to marrying later in life and with a lot of history and, well, kids) so a two-month anniversary staycation was called for. Tomorrow real life commences but a few hours in a hotel @lemeridienstlclayton will do a new marriage good. Please, give us more good marriage tips! (Pajamas @nadinemerabi)," the 'RHOC' alum posted alongside a picture of her sprawled on a bed with a glass of champagne.
Meghan was previously married to her classmate Brad McDill, but the couple separated in October 2011. She later went on to marry MLB player Jim Edmonds in 2014. The couple shares three children together. Jim and Meghan's marriage ended in 2019 when it was revealed that he cheated on her. The couple had a very bitter divorce battle which was finalized in May 2021. At the time of Mehan and Cuffe's wedding, Jim took a dig at them by questioning the couple's decision to get married so quickly. He said, "I thought it was a joke. They’d been dating for about four weeks! Is she pregnant? But is it even possible to know that just four weeks after the first date?”
Neither Meghan nor Cuffe have confirmed the news of their split.
