LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: While Robert Herjavec and Mark Cuban are known for their affinity towards tech pitches, Lori Greiner is known for her inclination towards pitches that provide simple solutions to everyday problems, Daymond John is the fashion guy, and Kevin O'Leary aka Chef Wonderful and Mr Wonderful is known to be drawn to culinary/ kitchen product pitches and wedding services and products' pitches. So when Kevin decided to sit out from making a deal with Bridal Babes, 'Shark Tank' fans were left feeling surprised and puzzled.

Bridal Babes, a bridal tech company that focuses on designing inclusive and trendy bridal wear options at an affordable price was featured in the recently aired episode 5 of 'Shark Tank' Season 14. Bridal Babes' founders Ashley and Charles Young came in seeking a $250,000 for a 10% equity stake in their brand. Lori Greiner and guest Shark Emma Grede were immediately drawn to the designs of the gowns and couldn't get enough of the unique stretchy satin fabric that the Bridal Babes gowns were made out of. To spice up things further, Ashley and Charles revealed that they made a little over $2 Million in sales and had the vision of turning their company into a $500 Million brand! Needless to say, Bridal Babes had a great production their hand, with impressive sales margins to back it up. Despite all the positives, Kevin simply decided to not roll out an offer despite having a wedding platform called 'Something Wonderful' which would have been a perfect fit for Bridal Babes.

Though Kevin explained that the customer acquisition cost for a bridal wear product is one of the highest ever and cited it as a reason for his decision to sit out, 'Shark Tank' fans still had a hard time understanding why he wasn't making any offers or closing a  deal with Bridal Babes. A fan tweeted, "I'm surprised Kevin didn't make them an offer. Isn't he always boasting about his wedding platform? #SharkTank." "I'm surprised Mr. Wonderful is out. Weddings are his thing. #SharkTank," wrote a fan. "I would think @bridal_babes would be perfect for @kevinolearytv and his "Something Wonderful" platform. He specializes in weddings. #SharkTank," pointed out a fan. "#SharkTank Mr. Wonderful! The wedding industry is your industry! Hmmm … wazzup with data?" wondered a fan.

Thankfully, despite Kevin's reluctance about making an offer to Bridal Babes, the brand managed to leave the tank with a deal from Emma. The guest Shark made an offer of $250,000 for a 20% equity in the brand for a $1 Million valuation. Charles and Ashley left the tank feeling pleased with bagging a deal from Emma. 'Shark Tank' fans too couldn't get enough of the Bridal Babes' stunning gowns and praised the brand for their impressive vision of inclusivity and representation. A fan shared, "They even have great-looking and very affordable wedding gowns. I like them, and I like the product. @bridal_babes #bridalbabes #SharkTank." "Bridal Babes retail pricing is AMAZING!!!
