James Corden broke ties with health brand Weight Watcher just 2 months after misconduct at NYC restaurant
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After his "multi-year" contract with Weight Watchers expired, James Corden discreetly left the health brand, according to reports. This occurred just two months after the actor was accused of being impolite to New York City restaurant Balthazar's staff.
The 'Late Late Show' host, 44, who has been criticized for his "diva-like" outbursts and whose multi-year global partnership with the slimming company was first announced in January 2021, has been taken down from the company's websites in the UK and the US. Does the decision have anything to do with his misconduct in New York City?

Why Did James Corden cut ties with Weight Watchers?
"The deal with WW was successfully completed last year having run its course. Both parties are happy and on good terms," Corden's representative told DailyMail.
In interviews and advertisements promoting his 35lbs weight loss while living in Los Angeles, Corden, who will complete his eighth year as host of 'The Late Late Show' at the end of April, was hailed as one of the brand's most high-profile success stories. A link to Corden's page on the brand's website was included in the news release from 2021 announcing his ambassadorship, however, the link currently leads to a general blog without any mention of the star.
Marketing experts told the DailyMail that Corden's deal was worth "millions". They said, "James was the poster boy for WW especially in the USA. He was on TV commercials and talking about it on his show and in media interviews at first. His weight loss journey drew headlines and people noticed how successful he was. However that has not happened recently and with him leaving America for the UK, there will be less eyeballs on him in the States."
What did James Corden do at Balthazar?
This news comes six months after Corden was barred from NYC restaurant Balthazar following a heated complaint about an order and amid other claims regarding the star's conduct.
On October 9, 2022, Corden dined at the SoHo restaurant and opposed with such fury about his meal that owner Keith McNally forbade him from visiting the restaurant again. The restaurant owner detailed the actor-turned-TV host's verbal abuse of his staff in an Instagram post, including shouting at one staff member, "You can't do your job!"
According to McNally, who has a colorful history of expelling famous people from his upscale restaurants, Corden allegedly acted in a similar manner many times at his old eatery, Cafe Luxembourg, leaving one server "shaken."
In a second instance, McNally alleges that Corden was having brunch at the restaurant on October 9 with his wife Julia Carey. He claims that Carey ordered an egg yolk omelet with a salad and that Corden requested a table outside. The pair sent the dish back after complaining to the server that there was "a little bit of egg white mixed with the egg yolk. "The entrée was redone by the kitchen, but home fries were sent in place of the requested salad," McNally said. According to the owner, Corden then started screaming hysterically at the server, "You can't do your job! You can't do your job! Maybe I should go into the kitchen and cook the omelet myself!"
