LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: James Cordan recently ran into a controversy after he harshly complained about an omelet at Balthazar restaurant and was banned by the owner, Keith Mcnally. However, the ban was lifted after Cordon "profusely" apologized. Meanwhile, a 2017 video of Jimmy Kimmel quizzing the comedian has resurfaced on social media where Corden failed to name two cameramen working on the show.

According to DailyMail, Jimmy was invited on 'The Late Late Show' for a segment called 'Spill Your Guts.' The segment was designed in such a way that Jimmy will be asking questions to Corden, and if he fails to answer, will have to consume unappetizing dishes.

During the segment, Jimmy asked, "Name two of the cameramen in this room." However, Corden responded, "That is a great question, it is a different crew tonight, actually." Later, Corden took the fish smoothie and drank the same as he could not answer the 'great' question.

Meanwhile, various reviews from Trip Advisor have also indicated the comedian's attitude during the show. One of the reviews read, "I managed to get it in, and was seated in the second row with my partner. Anyone who was overweight (of Corden's stature or larger, let's say) was ushered into seats situated at the back."

It further read, "At one point, before things kicked off, I actually overheard James Corden say to one of his staff "I don't want to have to look at him", implying that they ought to move him to another seat. Not once did he communicate with the crowd (volunteers!) without the cameras rolling. As fake and entitled as they come. S/O to Reggie though. He's legit."

Another person stated, "if your not a hottie you probably won’t get in or certainly shoved out of camera shot if you do. James Corden is as fake as they come and his friends in the audience were so rude and just ignored all the rules took photos and texted during the show." Meanwhile a user suggested, "If you’re going to pick a show, the Kimmel experience is WAY better than Corden. This includes all the staff (Corden people just stood in line and talked amongst themselves while the Kimmel staff were friendly and chatted with everyone standing in line), the warm-up comedian, security people and anyone else involved. I know this is Hollywood/LA, but this show and the vibe is over the top superficial and stupid. Get over yourself."

A user has also claimed, "Warning... the negative reviews on this page are true. Do not waste your time seeing this show. They make you wait for hours outside and judge you by the way you dress and look. That determines where you sit in the audience. Then after finally starting the show, James seems annoyed and never addresses the audience! He was on his phone during the commercial breaks and seemed to care less. What you see on TV is not his real personality. Go to see Jimmy Kimmel Live... now that's a great experience!"

Meanwhile, a user also said, "Am not a massive fan of James cordon, went more to see a TV show being taped so I can see why some people are disappointed. James doesn’t really interact with the audience, in fact he didn’t even wave, acknowledge or thank us when leaving the studio which I thought was a bit unnecessary. He is clearly there to get a job done and get out."

He then added, "Atmosphere is generated by the audience and is your sole purpose of being there, if your not laughing, clapping and cheering like crazy (whether you want to or not) that’s your mission. You won’t be able to hear James over it at times too."

Further, he said, "Audience who get to sit at the front are clearly picked on dress sense, think going out for dinner look, and they seem to select the allotted number of them as soon as they can do I’d recommend getting in the queue early if you want that. We got there at 3pm (entry was 3-30 for our group) and by the time we got through they had selected the majority of the front row people."

The review concluded, "Expect up to an hour wait before you go into the studio too. Was good to see how a show is put together but if your a fan of James don’t expect too much. I think if you want to see more interaction from the host go to Jimmy Fallon or Ellen."

Keith's Instagram posts about Corden

Keith recently slammed the comedian about Corden's harsh complaints and behavior towards the staff over an omelet. However, Keith later revealed that the comedian has apologized 'profusely' to him for his act. Keith is now ready to give him a 'second chance' and has dropped the ban. The incident happened at the restaurant on Sunday, October 9, as the 44-year-old entertainer complained about an omelet in a harsh tone, and this added up to a previous incident that happened in the summer where the 'The Late Late Show' host verbally abused another staff.

In the initial post, he claimed, "James Corden is a Hugely gifted comedian, but a tiny Cretin of a man. And the most abusive customer to my Balthazar servers since the restaurant opened 25 years ago. I don't often 86 a customer, to today I 86'd Corden. It did not make me laugh." Further he added,  "Here are two examples of the funny man's treatment of my staff. MANAGER'S REPORT # 1: 'In June, James Corden was here on table 61. (Although this is diabolical, it happens Very occasionally in all restaurants.) After eating his main course, Corden showed the hair to Balthazar manager G. who was very apologetic. Corden was extremely nasty to G, and said: “Get us another round of drinks this second. And also take care of all of our drinks so far. This way I write any nasty reviews in yelp or anything like that."

He also said, "James Corden was at Balthazar with his wife on October 9th for brunch. He asked for a table outside. Brunch Maitre D' Allie Wolters took the party to table 301. Mr Corden's wife ordered an egg yolk omelet with gruyere cheese and salad." , "A few minutes after they received the food, James called their server, MK, and told her there was a little bit of egg white mixed with the egg yolk. MK informed the floor manager, G The kitchen remade the dish but unfortunately sent it with home fries instead of salad."

Further, he claimed, "That's when James Corden began yelling like crazy to the server: "You can't do your job! You can't do your job! Maybe I should go into the kitchen and cook the omelet myself!" MK was very apologetic and brought G over to the table." "He returned the dish, and after that, everything was fine. He gave them promo Champagne glasses to smooth things out. G said that Corden was pleasant to him but nasty to the server.' MK was very shaken but professional and continued to finish her shift," said the owner.

In the second post about Corden, he said, "James Corden just called me and apologized profusely. Having f****d up myself more than most people, I strongly believe in second chances. So if James Corden lets me host his Late Late Show for 9 months, I’ll immediately rescind his ban from Balthazar."
He then added, "No, of course not. But....anyone magnanimous enough to apologize to a deadbeat layabout like me (and my staff) doesn’t deserve to be banned from anywhere. Especially Balthazar. So Come Back to the 5 & Dime, Jimmy Corden, Jimmy Corden. All is Forgiven. xx"

'Who the hell is he?'

The internet was quick to react to the video as it resurfaced. A user suggested, "Sounds like most of Hollywood." Meanwhile, another user wondered, "ewwww...he's not even that good....who the hell is he?." Another user claimed, "Oh that's shameful."

However, a tweet read, "My father, a Stagehand, has worked in Broadway, TV and movies and NEVER was disrespected by a real Star. They knew the crew, talked to them, even shared meals or brought food & drinks. These guys work very hard to make the little 'cretin' stars look good." Another user claimed, "James Corden what did you do to upset the cult?." Another user said, "Consider me out of the loop.. but James who????."
