MIRAMAR, FLORIDA: Joseph Mersa Marley, the grandson of reggae icon Bob Marley and the son of Grammy award-winning musician Stephen Marley, has been found dead. According to a tweet by Jamaican journalist Abka Fitz-Henly, the 31-year-old was discovered comatose in a vehicle.

Abka Fitz-Henly claims that the cause of death "was not immediately clear," but "sources close to the developments believe Joseph Marley might have succumbed to an asthma attack." Joseph, whose stage name was Jo Mersa, rose to prominence as a reggae performer during his successful career in the music industry and is survived by his wife, Qiara, and daughter, Sunshine.
