PACIFIC HARBOUR, FIJI: Jasmine Sklavanitis' journey was cut short in 'Love Island USA' Season 5. After failing to find any connection, the star was eliminated in the recoupling round of Episode 6. But before leaving the show, she confessed to being in love with one of her fellow castmates. Who was Jasmine in love with?

Was Marco Donatelli the reason Jasmine got eliminated from the show? He managed to make sure that Jasmine believes that she was being picked by him. Who was Jasmine in love with?

In the last episode, Jasmine was seen crying over Victor. But taking things ahead with Harrison made her feel as if she was in love with him. Yes, you heard it right. It wasn't even 24 hours that Jasmine would have spent alone time with Harrison, and she was already in love. She confessed to her fellow girls' pals, "I'm love." 

Listening to Jasmine confess her love, a viewer tweeted, "Jasmine saying she’s in love … girl it’s been 4 seconds." Another slammed the star, "Jasmine is crazy…… had one conversation telling everyone she’s in love bye." "Jasmine is giving me whiplash. Half the time she’s talking finding love and connection and the rest is her being horny as hell over anyone that looks at her," a fan questioned Jasmine's emotions. Another mocked, "In love? Jasmine, get a grip lol." 

Was Jasmine eliminated because of Marco?

In Episode 6, we saw Marco making Jasmine believe that she will be picked by Harrison. In order to confirm the pairing, Marco was seen advocating Jasmine to Harrison. Despite so much effort, Harrison did not pick Jasmine. This led to Jasmine's elimination. Was it Marco's fault? He was seen hyping Jasmine up so much that she was sure about getting picked. If she would have doubted a little, the star would have tried making a connection with other boys in the villa.

Seeing Marco play a role in Jasmine's elimination, a fan tweeted, "Marco and Anna should feel bad, had Jasmine so sure she was getting picked and for what." Another wrote, "Marco trying to get harrison to pick jasmine? hes strange nasty ginger." Another speculated, "MARCO IS ONLY ADVOCATING FOR JASMINE BC HE WANTS DESTINY DUMPED." "Not Marco gassing Jasmine’s head up like that," mocked a fan.
