LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hulu, known for successful book adaptations such as 'Little Fires Everywhere', 'Tell Me Lies', and the 'Sally Rooney-verse' ('Normal People' and 'Conversations with Friends'), has announced a new project called 'Saint X', which is a psychological drama based on Alexis Schaitkin's best-selling novel of the same name.
The series follows the story of a young woman's death during a Caribbean vacation, exploring the far-reaching and traumatic impact of her mysterious demise. Through multiple timelines and perspectives, the deceased woman's surviving sister sets out on a dangerous quest to uncover the truth.The production team behind 'Saint X' is a collaboration of talented individuals, including executive producers Leila Gerstein and Alexis Schaitkin, who authored the source material. They are joined by director Dee Rees, Stephen Williams, David Levine, Zack Hayden of Anonymous Content, Aubrey Graham (aka Drake), Adel "Future" Nur, Jason Shrier of DreamCrew Entertainment, and Steve Pearlman.
