On July 7, a Korean news outlet reported that GOT7’s leader, Jay B was dating Kim Do-hyun aka Pure.D who happens to be a Beauty YouTuber and a special effects artist. They have been in a relationship for nine months and met through a mutual acquaintance. Following the reports, a representative confirmed that they were indeed dating. With his girlfriend also being a public figure, the statement said that the two have been careful but have a good relationship. They asked fans to continue supporting the two artists.

GOT7 fans are impressed with Jay B’s girlfriend as she is a special effects artist who has worked on major projects and done the special effects for films, K-dramas and commercials. Like the K-pop idol, she also happens to be multifaceted and is a Beauty YouTuber with over 471k subscribers. Pure.D whose real name is Kim Do-hyun was born in 1992 and has also been using her makeup skills to create special effects makeup. She had gone viral even on K-pop Twitter back in 2020 for collaborating with Mamamoo’s Solar.
