FRANKLIN, NEW JERSEY: Mia Soleil Sanchez who is set to appear on 'America's Got Talent' Season 19 is a talented 13-year-old singer from Franklin, New Jersey, with an impressive list of accomplishments in various singing competitions.
In 2018, Mia came third in the Sussex County Idol competition and second in the Elementary Division at the Sussex County Talent Show. That same year, she also took first place in The Voice Mid Atlantic Idol’s Elementary Division, third in The Voice Musical Theatre’s Elementary Division, second in The Voice Open Jazz Solo’s Elementary Division, and fifth in The Voice Open Pop Festival’s Elementary Division at the Mid Atlantic Teacher’s Guild Festival.
In 2020, Mia continued her winning streak by placing first in the Jazz Elementary competition at the Mid Atlantic Teacher’s Guild Festival. She also earned second place in the Pop Elementary, Idol Elementary, and Musical Theatre Elementary competitions, as well as fourth place in the Talent Showcase Junior competition at the same festival.
The following year, in 2021, Mia once again showcased her talent by securing first place in the Pop Elementary competition and second place in the Jazz Elementary competition at the Northeast Music Teacher Association Competition.
In 2022, the young singer claimed first position in the Elementary Division of the Sussex County Talent Show.
In 2023, Mia had the opportunity to participate in a special carpool karaoke-style Vocal Masterclass with Cheryl Porter before performing Olivia Rodrigo’s 'Vampire'. To top it off, Cheryl surprised Mia with tickets to Olivia Rodrigo’s upcoming concert as a birthday present.

In June 2024, during a special kids night event, the Red Bulls selected several young individuals to participate in pre-match festivities. Among them were 11-year-old Andrea from Fairlawn, who bravely took the public address microphone to lead the crowd in singing the National Anthem.
Additionally, 13-year-old Mia from Franklin Borough showcased her vocal talents by delivering a stirring rendition of the National Anthem, meanwhile, 10-year-old DJ Jules from Long Island energized the fans with his music before and during the match. The youngsters' performances added a special touch to the evening's festivities and helped create a memorable experience for all in attendance.
