Who is Maggie Sajak? Pat Sajak's daughter joins 'Wheels of Fortune' as online host
The 'Wheel of Fortune' fame Pat Sajak has re-signed with the show to stay on through 2024. Apart from that, Sajak, who has helmed the game show since 1981, will now be a consulting producer, and his daughter will be joining the game show as a social correspondent.
The 26-year-old, Maggie Sajak will be working to expand the show's digital presence. According to Variety, she’ll be the online host sharing "exclusive videos, behind-the-scenes access, and interviews with the hosts, staff, crew, and contestants." Maggie will also run the show's social media handles which include its "website and pages on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok."

According to the show's website, Maggie "graduated from Princeton University, finished a postgraduate program at Columbia University, and is currently attending law school." "I’m excited about the opportunity to bring an insider’s look at the show with new behind-the-scenes features, interviews, videos and insights. The ‘Wheel of Fortune’ staff and crew have always been like an extended family, and I’m thrilled to be working with them," she said regarding her new role. Maggie shared a snap of herself at the Sony Pictures studio lot on social media, writing: “Looking ahead to one week from now and the premiere of SEASON 39 of @wheeloffortune!!!”

Sajak grew up in the Severna Park, Maryland, area and started playing the guitar at age 12. In 2011, she released her first single, 'First Kiss', an upbeat country-pop song. The music video for the song was directed by CMT Music Award-winning director Trey Fanjoy in Nashville, Tennessee. Her video was featured on January 3, 2012, episode of Wheel of Fortune as a tribute to her 17th birthday. In 2013, she recorded a song in Nashville called 'Live Out Loud' to honor Muriel Walters, a teenage girl in Maryland who was battling cancer. Soon afterward, one of her songs was featured in the season finale of 'Sweet Home Alabama'.
