The 'Wheel of Fortune' host Pat Sajak left the viewers quite puzzled in the latest, November 25, episode of 'Wheel of Fortune' with his vivid reactions. It all started with the game show puzzle regarding kitchens, during which the host and one of the contestants Darin McBain were engaged in a funny argument. In one of the segments, Sajak asked McBain to come up with four “things that begin with the word ‘kitchen.'” The contestant responded, “Cabinet, oven, towels, sink”. However, he contradicted himself to say that there exists nothing such as a "kitchen oven".

“Kitchen oven?” McBain said. “What was that? Who calls it a ‘kitchen oven?’” McBain further commented. It was what came after this that stirred a lot of reactions from the viewers. Sajak, who holds the reputation for being a cheerful host, appeared to snap briefly after hearing McBain's opinion about whether the word oven goes with kitchen.

People soon started sharing the clips from the show where Sajak is telling in response to McBain's comment, "Don’t! You won! Don’t argue, Darin! You got the puzzle. Ungrateful players! I’ve had it! No, I’m just teasing. I finally snapped!” The host, however, apologized to McBain towards the end of the episode. He says, "I am sorry I yelled at you Darin. I just don't remember your mother giving us trouble like you did."

About Darin McBain

Darin McBain appeared on 'Wheels of Fortune' 38 years after his mother contested. It was revealed in the last episode that McBain's mother was a contestant on Wheel of Fortune's first host Vanna White's first episode in 1982 and that's what Sajak was referring to when he talked about McBain's mother never "troubling" them. He spun the wheel well-enough and stood second. McBain took home $15,350.

Even though Sajak apologized McBain for his rather unwelcoming comment, many are still reacting to the host "losing it" on national television. One tweeted, "Anyone who was "stunned" by ANYTHING Pat Sajak said on the show last night is 1) a damn idiot & 2) a drama queen. There was no confrontation, just Pat joking in his mild-mannered way, as always. It's dumb that anyone repeated the story or had any reaction at all. #wheeloffortune" Another wrote, "#PatSajak apologizes for yelling at 'ungrateful' contestant on 'Wheel of Fortune': ‘I finally snapped' Hmmmm...who else has heard of his temper and rudeness? I’m not surprised " One wrote, "It is incredibly obvious that they are joking around"
