LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Madame Web', an American suspense thriller, tells the story of Cassandra Webb (portrayed by Dakota Johnson), a paramedic who stumbles upon the extraordinary ability to foresee the future.

The film also includes three remarkable Spider-Women: Julia Carpenter (Sydney Sweeney), Anya Corazon (Isabela Merced), and Mattie Franklin (Celeste O'Connor).

'Madame Web' draws its inspiration from Marvel Comics, centering around the character of the same name.

Positioned as the fourth installment in Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU), the film casts Dakota Johnson, supported by an ensemble featuring Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O'Connor, Isabela Merced, Tahar Rahim, Mike Epps, Emma Roberts, and Adam Scott.

Madame Web first appeared in 'The Amazing Spider-Man No 210'

Dakota Johnson assumes the crucial role of Cassandra 'Cassie' Webb, also known as Madame Web, in the film. Within the narrative of Madame Web, Cassandra undergoes a transformative experience, acquiring clairvoyant abilities after an accident.

Madame Web, portrayed as a psychic paramedic, attains the ability to see the future and becomes entrusted with the responsibility of safeguarding the three Spider-Women from a supervillain in the film. As she joins forces with these three Spider-Women, Madame Web embarks on a battle against the menacing antagonist to ensure their safety.

Madame Web appeared in 'The Amazing Spider-Man No. 210,' published in November 1980. The character was conceived by writer Denny O'Neil to aid Spider-Man in locating a kidnapping victim.

In the film, the portrayal of Madame Web diverges slightly from the original comic-book rendition of the character.

In the book, Madame Web is portrayed as a paralyzed, elderly, blind mutant with telepathic and precognitive abilities. However, in the film adaptation, Madame Web is depicted engaging in intense combat against the villain.
