Lindsay Lohan announced on Sunday, November 28, that she is engaged to her boyfriend Bader Shammas. Uploading a series of pictures on her Instagram feed, the 'Mean Girls' star wrote, "My love. My life. My family. My future. @bader.shammas #love", accompanied by a "ring" emoji. Although Lohan tagged her fiancé in the post, you may not be able to see Bader Shammas' profile as it is private.

From the beginning, Lohan and Shammas have kept their relationship very private. However, The Independent reported that the duo has been dating for about two years. A source had earlier also told The Sun that their relationship was going strong, saying, “Lindsay’s relationship with Bader (Shammas) is going strong. She has been with him for about two years now.” Happy news seems to be pouring in this year as in August, 'Modern Family' star Eric Stonestreet announced his engagement to nurse GF Lindsay Schweitzer and in October, Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian announced their engagement as well.

Who is Bader Shammas?

Bader Shammas, 34, is a Dubai-based financier who currently works as the Assistant Vice President at the banking firm Credit Suisse. Previously, he worked for over a year until 2017 as an associate with BNP Paribas Wealth Management. The Dubai native first received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida in 2010, and then another one as a Bachelor of Science in Finance in 2012 from John H Sykes College of Business -- affiliated with the University of Tampa.

Back in February 2020, Lohan had posted a picture of herself with band members of the rock band Bastille at a Dubai rock concert, which she had initially captioned, "@aliana lovely night with sister and my boyfriend bader such a magical night.” However, she later changed the caption. The post now seems to have been deleted.

Lohan has previously been engaged to Russian business heir Egor Tarabasov. However, the former couple split in 2017, following which Lohan claimed that Tarabasov was physically abusive. Tarabosov subsequently denied all these claims and said that Lohan was trying to launch a “smear campaign” against him.

One user tweeted: "Lindsay lohan getting engaged is hope for all insane unhinged party girls everywhere."

"Ok. Hottie of the Night is now going to be: Lindsay Lohan! Because the American Beauty just got engaged! Congratulations," one user wrote, while another said, "Congratulations are in order! Our girl Lindsay Lohan announced that her and bae Bader Shammas are engaged!".
