Gretchen said there is blood on Rowling's hands
The 'Manhunt' author, a few days ago tweeted that there is “blood” on "Jessie Singal's hands", blood on "Helen Joyce's", and "Rowling’s” hands, and Rowling and others are “killing ours”. This was in response to the 16-year-old transgender teenager, Brianna Ghey, who was stabbed to death in a public park in Warrington on Saturday afternoon of February 11.
Rowling is burned alive in Gretchen's debut novel 'Manhunt'
The motive for the murder hasn't been revealed although two 15-year-olds were arrested within 24 hours of the alleged crime. As per the report, Rowling is killed by being burned alive in Felker Martin's debut book, Manhunt, which was released in February 2022.
The author Jesse Singal she mentioned railed against her by quoting her Tweets saying, "Gretchen Felker-Martin, a horror writer who has gotten glowing coverage from outlets like NPR, has blamed commentators she doesn't like, myself included, for the stabbing death of trans teen thousands of miles away -- and said that our throats should be slit as payback."

The tweet from Felker-Martin, which she has since deleted, was sent just before she and 180 other activists signed a letter to the Times criticizing the newspaper's recent coverage of transgender issues, which included an analysis of whether young children should be given gender reassignment surgery or puberty blockers.
Similar opinions have been expressed by Rowling, who has also questioned whether trans women should be permitted entry into some female-only areas like jails, domestic violence shelters, and sporting events.
I am so proud to be one of many signatories on this vital letter to the editor of the New York Times, along with friends, colleagues, literary heroes, and many others. It is time for the paper to take accountability and stop repeating past mistakes.https://t.co/9hBtS07pkT pic.twitter.com/eP5PwCwmeg

'How many people do you have to threaten to kill before Twitter takes your account away?'
"I'm baffled that Gretchen Felker-Martin still has a Twitter account," Singal told the outlet. He added, "That she does is simply the latest proof that Twitter doesn't actually care about violent threats. How many people do you have to threaten to kill before Twitter takes your account away?."
It's telling that no one in Felker-Martin's world will speak out about her behavior,' he said. "Then they'll turn around and complain about all the violent and eliminationist rhetoric coming from the other side. There's no principle here. Death threats should be seen as bad no matter who is making them, and it's crazy I even have to point that out."
He added, "Her intention is for one of her followers to go after me because that's the only possible reason to tweet this sort of vile, eliminationist rhetoric about someone over and over."
