'Preschool teacher' sparks outrage after accusing BABY of being 'transphobic'
Video of a person claiming to have had an interaction with an apparently transphobic baby has gone viral on social media, garnering hundreds of thousands of views and sparking a backlash against the alleged preschool teacher.
The footage was first shared on Twitter by the account Teachers_Exposed on Monday, December 28, with the caption, "'Transphobic baby', this preschool teacher came to the conclusion that one of her students is transphobic." There is no confirmation that the person in the video is a teacher, who was featured on the video originally posted on TikTok.

The clip saw the person claim that a baby was transphobic because he liked them more with long hair, which they argued made them look more feminine. The person said they confronted the baby about it and he began to cry. "I have talked about the transphobic baby at work before," they said in the video. "I went in a room with him today and I had my wig on which I took off now because it is like 9 o'clock at night. He didn't cry and he was sort of babbling at me. I had a look at him and do you like me now because we have had a moment or do you like me now because I have long hair and look more feminine." She added, "Because then you are more transphobic, then he started to cry so that was my answer."

The clip has since made waves on social media and was also shared by right-wing Twitter account, Libs of TikTok, sparking a wave of reactions mocking the person complaining about the baby's apparent transphobia.
"No, the baby cried because babies don’t tend to like being around crazy and unstable people all that much," one tweeted. "Imagine being systemically oppressed by a baby," another wrote.
"Listen to their tone. There is already a deep dislike of that baby. They're already on the path to justifying harming the baby for its "transphobia". The parents should get a restraining order for the baby's safety," a comment read.
"The best thing about TikTok is it’s exposing the mental health crisis. Now can we please get these people some help!" someone else added. "If a carer can apply hate motives to a baby, I would suggest that they should not be working with kids," another chimed in.

President Joe Biden issued a statement in late November to mark Transgender Day of Remembrance and condemn acts of violence against the trans community. The 79-year-old commander-in-chief also mourned the 46 recorded cases of transgender people killed this year. "This year, at least 46 transgender individuals in this country and hundreds more around the world, were killed in horrifying acts of violence," the statement read. "Each of these lives was precious. Each of them deserved freedom, justice, and joy. We mourn those we lost in the deadliest year on record for transgender Americans, as well as the countless other transgender people, disproportionately Black and brown transgender women and girls - who face brutal violence, discrimination, and harassment."
