Finn Wolfhard's latest stint on 'Saturday Night Live' is making major headlines for all the right reasons. The actor, whose blockbuster show 'Stranger Things' recently ended with a lukewarm response, expertly took the stage as host of the popular show. While he mesmerised viewers with his impeccable comic timing, it was a 'Stranger Things' joke in particular that became the talk of the town.

In a rapid-fire promo with musical guest A$AP Rocky and 'SNL' staffer Sarah Sherman, Wolfhard asks them to rate their excitement from one to ten, but both answer "eleven." An exasperated Wolfhard responds, "Are you guys doing a bit? Like, from Stranger Things?" Sherman quips, "Er, I only know about normaler things," as per Mashable.

Talking about growing up onscreen and becoming an adult, Wolfhard joked, "My voice changed on camera, my first kiss was on camera, and the first time I learned what a woman looks like down there was on there as well," before cutting to a howling Demogorgon. Not only that, but Wolfhard also discovered he doesn't like the taste of alcohol, spitting his first celebratory drink onto Marcello Hernández, as per Variety.

Wolfhard's 'Stranger Things' co-stars Caleb McLaughlin and Gaten Matarazzo also joined him to talk about the oddities of growing up onscreen, joking that they're now grown and ready for "adult films." Later, an 'SNL' sketch imagined 'Stranger Things' spinoffs, including 'Mike in Manhattan' starring the trio, poked fun at Will Byers' (Noah Schnapp) prolonged coming-out scene, and envisioned shows like 'The Wheeler Report' and Steve Harrington as an inner-city teacher. SNL also featured a sketch of the rumored ninth episode of 'Stranger Things' Season 5, sparking an internet conspiracy, with the surprise twist of Kenan Thompson stepping in as Eleven.

In another pre-taped sketch, Wolfhard and Ben Marshall played Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, respectively, in a comedic take on the upcoming HBO 'Harry Potter' series. The sketch opened with a voiceover, "Coming soon to HBO, the beloved wizarding world of Harry Potter makes its television debut," before Wolfhard's Harry and Marshall's Ron clashed in a heated exchange on their first day at Hogwarts, with the voiceover adding, "With an all new story hastily written after the success of a certain other HBO show…" as per The Hollywood Reporter.

In the Heated Wizardry sketch, Marshall's Ron tells Harry, "You dropped your wand. It's lovely, by the way," to which Wolfhard's Harry responds, "I'd love to see yours sometime," and Ron adds, "You would." The bit centers on a Quidditch rivalry turned behind-the-scenes romance, featuring playful fake reviews, including one from J.K. Rowling that read, "I am not a part of this." The sketch also included playful fake reviews, including a disapproving quote from Rowling saying, "I am not a part of this."
