Who are Witchers? New K-pop girl group debuting in July trends for having older members
With K-pop going global by the day, there has been news of newer K-pop groups making their debut in the industry. Over the last few months, groups like Tempest, NMIXX, Le Sserafim, YOUNITE, TAN, TNX, among others have made their debuts, and slowly but steadily are making a name for themselves. Now a new K-pop agency is in the news for debuting an upcoming girl group and the reason behind the chatter is interesting. It is typical for groups to debut members who are young, with groups like Le Sserafim, NMIXX and CLASS:y having members as young as 15 to 16 years of age.
However, a new girl group with older members making their debut is going viral for its refreshing concept. It was revealed that Blooming Entertainment's new girl group named Witchers has members from the age of 23 to 25 years old. The five-member girl group will be making their debut this July.

Pre-debut girl group Witchers to soon make their debut
The girl group Witchers was reported to be making their debut under an unrevealed agency back in May of 2021. The members of the girl group were soon revealed one by one, starting with Cha Yeju and followed by Roa and Yooria. Saebom was the fourth member of the girl group to be revealed followed by U-Hyun and finally Layla. It was reported that members Cha Yeju, Yooria and U-Hyun all left the group due to various reasons.
With only three members now remaining in the group, as of May 2022, Witchers revealed their final new members Jiyoon and Risia, who joined the lineup and are now gearing up to make a debut with Witchers as of July of 2022. Back in February, the active members of Witchers released the pre-debut song, 'Song for Overcome', sung by members Nariu and Saebom with the vision of giving hope to the pandemic-laden world. The girl group also participated in the pre-debut OST 'Love Letter' for the web-drama 'Cinema Club' sung by members Nariu, Saebom and Roa. The three members also starred in the web drama, making it their K-drama debut before their K-pop debut.
