Jerry O'Connell
Jerry was born in Manhattan. He is half Irish, a bit Italian, and a bit Polish. The star entered the world of acting at a very young age. He did his first commercial as a child for Duncan Hines cookies. The major part of his growing age was invested in doing films and shows. The star was featured in 'Calender Girls', 'Camp Wilder', 'Sliders', 'Mission to Mars', 'Scream 2', and many others. He even tried his luck in screenwriting with 'First Daughter'. His most prominent work is seen in one of the episodes of 'Justice League Unlimited' where he is cast as Captain Marvel. In 2021, he announced that he will be hosting the CBS 'The Host' and 'The Real Love Boat'.
Rebecca Romijn
Rebecca was born in California. She is an actress and a former model. She entered Hollywood with the help of her modeling career in 1991. Back then, she advertised for big brands like Escada, Christian Dior, La Perla, Furla, Tommy Hilfiger, Maybelline, and many others. Moving to the film industry, the star is famously known for her role in 'Mystique' and 'X-Men' series films. In 2007, Rebecca switched as a regular cast member in 'Ugly Betty'. Rebecca also voiced for DC Universe animated movies. Moreover, the actress was also seen 'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds'. Now, she is stepping into the reality world with her husband.
Jerry and Rebecca met each other at a Maxim 100 party in Las Vegas. "We had a couple dates in Las Vegas and then I flew home and I needed a ride home from the airport. And I called Jerry and he drove me home and basically never left," Rebecca said, according to People.
Jerry and Rebecca have been happily married for 15 years. In the recently released sneak peek of the show, Jerry claims that he fell in love with Rebecca at first sight. Rebecca further said, "We both decided we wanted to be with each other more than anybody else in the whole world." And, that's the kind of connection the hosts are looking for in the contestant.
'The Real Love Boat' will premiere on October 5, 2022, at 8 pm ET/PT on CBS.
